Despite low AMH, we finally got good-quality embryos.
Low AMH and poor embryo quality can make the IVF journey challenging. After two unsuccessful IVF cycles with poor-quality embryos, the patient faced the added challenge of diminished ovarian reserve. With limited ovarian reserve and previous disappointing outcomes, finding an individualized treatment approach became important.
Following ovarian rejuvenation treatment, the patient underwent two subsequent egg retrieval procedures. This time, good-quality embryos were obtained, and an embryo transfer resulted in a positive pregnancy test. While this marks an encouraging milestone in her fertility journey, further follow-up is needed to determine whether the pregnancy progresses to an ongoing pregnancy and live birth. This individual case does not establish that ovarian rejuvenation caused the improvement; further research is needed to evaluate its effectiveness and safety.
